Michael Faller | Award-Winning Brooklyn Cinematographer

Michael Faller is a Brooklyn-based cinematographer and filmmaker known for his observational, non-fiction storytelling. His work often explores themes of memory, preservation, and identity. Faller’s thesis film, What Remains, received the Outstanding Achievement in Documentary award at the 2015 Brooklyn College Film Festival and was honored with a National Board of Review Student Grant. He has contributed to various projects, including Maybe This Year and Brain Jail. Faller began his creative journey making skateboard films in his hometown of Rochester, NY, and continues to bring a personal, cinematic approach to his work across film, photography, and creative direction.
